Video and film footage of crocodilians engaging in typically crocodilian behaviour, from running and swimming to fighting and mating.


HOW TO VIEW

These videos are easy to view. Just use a program that can display MPEG-1 video. On a PC you can use MEDIA PLAYER which comes with all versions of Windows. On a Mac you can use SPARKLE (download it from here).


TECHNICAL DETAILS

Videos were filmed on a Sony TRV-900E DV camera and captured onto a PC using DVRaptor. Files were edited in Adobe Premier 5.1, saved at 240x180 framesize using Intel Indeo 5.10 AVI compression, and then converted to MPEG-1 format using AVI2MPG1. Unless stated there is no audio, which helps reduce file size. Bitrate is normally 100 kb/s or 50 kb/s. Videos run at 25 fps or 15 fps.
