When you've gotta go...
When we finally release the crocodiles (after all the nets have been removed, of course) they usually wish to get back into the water as quickly as possible! This is one of the best times to see one of the most thrilling crocodile behaviours out there - galloping. Yes, crocodiles can gallop, and they can move! Don't believe the figures you hear of 40 mph crocodiles, the fastest that a crocodile can gallop is just over 10 mph (17 kph), but it's still remarkable to see these wonderful animals move in this quite unique way.
