Osteolaemus tetraspis tetraspis

Close-up of the head of an adult dwarf crocodile. The upturned snout in this subspecies can easily be seen. O. tetraspis osborni has a much flatter snout. The relatively large eyes of this species also give an indication of its nocturnal foraging activity.
