Plenty of crocodiles waiting their turn


Some billabongs contained very high densities of freshwater crocodiles, and finding enough shade involved setting up quite a few tarpaulins. Ensuring that the crocodiles were comfortable was a full-time occupation, moving them as the sun moved across the sky, ensuring they were not being disturbed by ants or other insects, and ensuring they were hydrated.
