The mechanics of filming galloping crocodiles


National Geographic setting up to film galloping freshwater crocodiles. To ensure the camera followed the action, we set up a dolly - a track along which the camera could run. The next task was capturing the behaviour on cue in front of the camera. This is easier said than done, although we've become experts in the field of filming unusual crocodile behaviour.
