Heather wrangles a small freshie
A small freshwater crocodile, probably about two to three years old, is captured in the net and removed. Even at this size, freshies can send you to the first aid kit very quickly so care is needed. With dozens of sharp teeth, a long snout, sharp claws and a flexible tail, the crocodile quickly gets tangled in the net. The challenge is trying to extricate it quickly and effectively. Some animals take mere seconds, others can take at least a minute or two unless it's very badly tangled.
