Third camp, Many Catfish billaong

Many Catfish billabong was very well named! Taking dozens of catfish out of the nets, each armed with stinging spines, requires a lot of patience. You can see our trusty Toyota Landcruiser with the 10 foot aluminium punt on the back, ready to be deployed. You can also see my extremely comfortable camp chair, much envied by the entire capture team over 5 weeks! If you think you can survive in the field for that long by lying on the ground, think again - creature comforts are definitely high on the priority list after many long nights.
